A couple weeks ago I requested an iPhone app to control my SlingBox.
SlingRemote
More important to me would be a remote app for our SlingBox a la the AppleRemote app for iTunes.
…
I can control everything just fine from the app itself but having a keyboard and mouse on the coffee table isn’t really ideal. I suspect there’s a clever way of doing this whereby your iPhone communicates the remote commands to my Mac and then the Slingplayer software itself sends those to the SlingBox.
Well low and behold… enter Snatch.
For $6.99 (iTunes Link) you can get the full featured version which includes full trackpad and keyboard support. On the keyboard side you can create custom buttons (a bit tedious) to control various things or launch applications. It’s not the specific SlingBox solution I was looking for but it lets me control it and more without having to pull out the keyboard or mouse.

There’s also a test version available (iTunes) with trackpad support only.
