Running 5 Month Status

Sporting my new shades

Hard to believe we’re now at the 5 month mark with only 56 days till the H.C. Andersen Marathon in Odense, Denmark.

The Walkington 10k was a little over a week ago and went really well. Despite the hillier course and not having tapered for it I still ran a 49:12 which was only 20 seconds slower than Helensburgh.

Current totals after 5 months:

  • Number of runs: 73
  • Total distance: 351 miles
  • Total time: 54 hours 58 minutes @ 9:21min/mi overall average pace
  • Longest run: 20 miles @ 9:57min/mi
  • Calories burned: 51,820 (equals ~305 pints of Guinness)

Obama in Berlin

Aside from an amazing photograph of 200,000 people cheering on Obama… this was one of the first things I noticed in the photograph…

WordPress On iPhone

Just a quick post from the new native WordPress iPhone app. So far it looks quite functional. I wonder if this would work offline as well?

Update: Airplane mode is now on and I’m able to edit this post in the app and create new ones as well. This makes the app a lot more useful than simply accessing your WordPress Admin via Safari on the phone.

Update 2: Attempting to Publish a post while disconnected from the web didn’t go so well. WordPress simply crashed. Just stick with saving local drafts unless you have a live data connection and you should be good.
