		<description><![CDATA[That guy is clearly a jerk.  Considering that your phone or Blackberry or whatever, will only be off for a few minutes during take off and landing, I see no problem with turning it off.

At altitude, it should be off no matter what.  You&#039;re not allowed to have cell phones &quot;active&quot; on airplanes for one reason or another, probably depending on the pilot&#039;s controls and communication, and it is very bad form to leave it on (and potentially dangerous).

Also, at 35,000 feet while traveling several hundred miles per hour, I can&#039;t imagine a Blackberry would be all that useful as I doubt you&#039;d have a signal...
